Today I would like to talk about Hardwell. He is a Dutch DJ/Producer. He is one of my favorite artists of all time.

History and About Him

His real name is Robbert van de Corput. He makes EDM songs in many different genres. He is the owner of Revealed Recordings which he founded in 2010. And he is also a member of Armada Music and Spinnin' Records.

At the age of 4, he began taking piano lessons and attended music school. By the age of 12, he was playing as a hip-hop DJ and producing songs in the electro field. In 2006, he released his first song.

Hardwell ft. Mitch Crown - Call Me A Spaceman

In 2012, he released Spaceman. This song has been played in many clubs and festivals around the world, and this song made him famous. It currently has 150 million views on YouTube and 140 million streams on Spotify.

In 2013, he was ranked #1 in the world DJ ranking. The following year, in 2014, he was again ranked #1. And he performed at the Tomorrowland which is the biggest music festival in the world.

Hardwell feat. Amba Shepherd - United We Are

In 2015, he released his first alubum United We Are. The album includes collaboration songs with well-known artists such as Jason Derulo, Tiesto, and W&W.

I bought this album on CD when I was in junior high school. It is still one of my favorite albums.

In 2018, he announced an indefinite hiatus. His last performance was at the Ziggo Dome for the Amsterdam Dance Event on 18 October 2018. In this show he collaborated with the world famous orchestra Metropole Orkest.

Hardwell LIVE at Ultra Music Festival Miami 2022

In 2022, he returned to his activities. He performed at Ultra Music Festival Miami and closed the festival with a new style of music called Future Rave or Future Techno. At the same time, he announced that he would be releasing an album called Rebels Never Die, and he would be touring the world.

This is my favorite of his songs. I remember the first time I heard this song. It gave me goosebumps, because the melody is so beautiful. And the lyrics are also very good. "If we were written in reverse. And the end was our beginning." I was very moved by the lyrics of this part.

I like this live performance very much. This is the live performance he did at Tomorrowland this year. I got goosebumps when I watched this last moment. If you watch this video, you will see what he is capable of.
